16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence

We have a lot of events taking place around the diocese to mark the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
Here is a list of the events as at 2nd November

25th November
Vigil outside Winchester Cathedral on Saturday 25th November from 12noon to 2pm. This year we will focus more on asking people to light a candle rather than on praying.

25th November – Highcliffe branch – Saturday 25th November

26th November All Saints Church, Mudeford – prayer service – Sunday 26th Nov 4:30-5:30pm

26th November St Peter’s Yateley – Sunday 26th November from 6pm to 7pm

29th November – Ringwood Branch – After 10am Communion outside the Parish Church. Candle lighting in the Market Square.

2nd December – Brockenhurst branch are planning to hold a silent vigil in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst between 10am and 11am on Saturday

7th December – Romsey branch – after branch meeting on Thursday 7th December.

9th December – The Old Chemist, Bitterne Park Triangle, on Saturday 9 December, from 2-4pm. A vigil to light a candle and offer prayers for an end to gender-based violence. Come at any time during the two hours and stay as long as you wish to.
